Spend the first Friday of every month in Downtown Woodstock and enjoy the many restaurants and stores that the area has to offer as the Downtown Merchants stay open late, 6pm-9pm, and celebrate with a themed downtown wide festival
For each Friday Night Live theme participating Downtown Merchants will have activities going on at their stores and throughout the Downtown area related to the theme of the month.
March 1st- Mardi Gras on Main
The spirit of Mardi Gras comes to Downtown Woodstock. Kick off March in style and celebrate Mardi Gras on Main in Downtown Woodstock. Mardi Gras on Main will feature a Mardi Gras parade and the crowning of a Mardi Gras King & Queen
The crowning of the Mardi Gras King & Queen will take place at 7:30pm at the park between Canyons & Pure
The Mardi Gras parade will start at 8pm from the location of Community and Southern Bank on Main St. The parade will go north up Main St through Historic Downtown Woodstock. The parade will end at the intersection of Main St and Towne Lake Pkwy. Parade should last 10 to 15 minutes. Be sure to line the sidewalks along Main St on the parade route to enjoy the Downtown Woodstock Mardi Gras parade.
A trio of horn players will be performing dixieland style music at the event.

In Woodstock Art & Glass on Friday night He will be building some ships and they will have appetizers to be enjoyed by everyone.
