Class Description:

Our beginner glass beads class is the perfect class for beginners who have no prior experience working with glass.

This class is very similar to our Beginner Glass Lampworking classes, with the only real difference being that this class focuses more on basic techniques used to create glass beads.

We start each class with a quick safety lesson and teach everyone how to light their torch!

After this class, you will walk away with the fundamentals of lampworking, and glass bead making.

Our first bead making experience was a life changing event. You will be surprised how easy it is to be drawn into this artform, leaving you with a desire to learn more!

Everything you make in class is yours to keep! Artwork will be annealed in the kiln overnight and available to pick up the next day.

Techniques You Will Be Learning:
  • Dots on beads
  • The Drip bead
  • Eye bead (my personal favorite)
  • and flowers on Beads!
Clothing Recommendations:

Please wear natural fiber clothing (Cotton T-shirt, jeans, short sleeves if you are brave), Closed toe shoes, and long hair needs to be pulled back.

Materials & Tools:

All glass, eye wear, and tools will be provided by Woodstock Art & Glass :)

Minimum Age Requirement:
15 years old
